Description
Crispy, healthy sweet potato fries made guilt-free with minimal oil. Perfect as a snack or side dish using an air fryer.
Ingredients
2 large sweet potatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Optional seasonings (garlic/pumpkin spice/cinnamon/rub)
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes
Wash and scrub sweet potatoes, then pat dry completely
Trim ends and cut into fries (1/4-inch thick) or wedges
Toss in bowl with oil, salt, pepper, and paprika (and optional seasonings)
Arrange in single layer in air fryer basket (do not overcrowd)
Cook 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway for even crisping
Notes
Use yams as a substitute
Avocado or coconut oil optional
Add rosemary or chili powder for flavor variations
Let cool slightly before serving for best crispiness
